THSC President and CEO Jackie Harris Appointed to LeadingAge Michigan Board of Directors

LeadingAge Michigan, the voice of aging services in Michigan with a mission to enhance its not-for-profit members’ services and improve seniors’ lives, announced that it has appointed Jackie Harris, president and CEO of Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC,) to its Board of Directors. “We are proud to announce the unanimous vote to appoint Jackie to fill a vacancy on the Board through May 2024 and are so happy to welcome her back to LeadingAge Michigan,” said David Herbel, president and CEO of LeadingAge Michigan. Harris previously served as THSC President and CEO between 2001 and 2009, during which time she was an active member of LeadingAge Michigan. She returned to the THSC helm in July.

“As an advocate for older adults, I am very proud to return to the LeadingAge Michigan Board,” Jackie Harris said. “I know firsthand how active, innovative, and collaborative LeadingAge Michigan is in its work on behalf of our seniors. I’m thrilled to represent Trinity Health Senior Communities in this important way for those we serve and those with whom we serve.”

Harris’ term is effectively immediately.

Trinity Health Senior Communities provides exceptional service to more than 3500 older adults in its owned short-term rehabilitation, long-term care including memory care, assisted living and independent living communities in seven states. Additionally, THSC manages seven continuing care properties in four states.
