If you or a loved one need assistance with the activities of daily living but don’t require the services of a skilled nursing facility, Beaven Kelly Home may be an ideal choice.

As a residential care facility – also called a rest home – Beaven Kelly Home provides the best of both worlds. Our residents are free to come and go as they please, and they have the structure and reassurance of around-the-clock assistance from a professional nursing and support staff, if they need it.

We also offer respite care for elders, providing temporary relief for their regular caregivers.

What Beaven Kelly Home is Like

The Beaven Kelly Home is a lovely, four-story Victorian home on spacious grounds in the Ingleside section of Holyoke, overlooking the Connecticut River. With gardens, a goldfish pond, gazebos and walkways, there are ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Inside, large windows and open spaces create a bright, inviting environment. Community rooms, a large dining room and serene chapel offer spaces for socialization and reflection.

Private rooms have cable television and private phone lines. Residents may decorate their rooms with personal items and furniture, or use furnishings we provide.

Our residents range in age from 50 to 90 and come from all walks of life, with a variety of life experiences.

Staying Active at Beaven Kelly Home

We offer a wide range of social and recreational activities that provide engagement, relaxation and opportunities for self-expression, including discussion groups, arts and crafts and outdoor activities such as gardening and bird watching. In addition, we offer frequent outings to stores, libraries, museums, restaurants, concerts and sporting events.

We cater to the individual needs of our residents, and make every effort to provide activities they want ant need - whether it's involvement in a knitting group, or meetings for military veterans. Residents are encouraged to participate in monthly informational meetings to provide input and suggestions.
